Why Shops Fly Blind
Most Fabricators Find Out Too Late
When quotes live in one tool, the schedule on a whiteboard, slabs in a spreadsheet and the books in QuickBooks, nobody can answer the simple questions. Which jobs lost money? Which builder pays slowly? How many square feet did we install last month? By the time someone pieces it together, the month is over.
Job Margin Is a Guess
Material, labor and remakes are spread across systems, so profit per job shows up weeks later, if at all.
Revenue You Canโt Predict
Sold jobs sit in the pipeline with no clear picture of when they install and when the money comes in.
Forgotten Slabs and Waste
Consigned stock ages in the yard, remnants pile up, and nobody measures how much of each slab ends up in the dumpster.
Books Arrive Weeks Late
The P&L, balance sheet and sales tax wait on someone to reconcile exports, so decisions run on last quarterโs numbers.
One List for Everyone
Sales, templaters, the shop and installers all scroll the same job list hunting for the ten jobs that matter to them today.
No Idea Where You Stand
Is a 38% gross margin good for a shop your size? Without clean annual numbers by channel and material, you canโt benchmark or plan.
Business Benchmark
Your Whole Year on One Page
Business Benchmark is a 12-section annual scorecard built for stone fabricators. Walk from gross revenue to EBITDA and the app fills most lines automatically from your books, invoices and jobs. Type in head counts and you get ratios. Freeze the year once the books close and the numbers never move.
Revenue and SF by sales channel. Pick the customers for Box Stores (Home Depot, Loweโs Sage, Loweโs Cosentino, Costco and other box stores), Builders Production, Builders Custom, Commercial, Dealer/Reseller and Retail. Every channel gets its own revenue line and its own SF line.
Material cost from your product categories. Quartz, Natural Stone, Ultra Compact/Porcelain, Laminate, Solid Surface, Tile, Alternative Materials and Sinks. Map your product categories once and COGS splits by material automatically.
Installed SF from tasks you pick. Tell the app which tasks mean a job is installed and it pulls square feet from those jobs, split by material type.
Direct labor by function from your chart of accounts. Map GL wage accounts to Field Measure/Template, Engineering, Fabrication (hard and soft side), Installation, Plumbing and Tile Setter, and the app reads the totals from your books.
SG&A expenses, line by line. Advertising, fleet, equipment, rent, payroll by department, supplies (shop, CNC tooling, plumbing, tile), health care, insurance and recruiting, all mapped from your accounts.
Head count by role, typed in once. Templators, installers, fabricators, engineers, machine operators, material handlers, ops managers, sales, purchasing, finance, office and trades. The app turns those into revenue per employee, installed SF per installer and per fabricator, and labor cost per installer.
Summary: where every dollar goes. Four headline KPIs, a โ$100 barโ that splits revenue into COGS, direct labor, overhead and EBITDA with a per-SF version of each, price per SF by channel, material cost per installed SF, cash metrics and a check against your books.
Lock the year. One button freezes the benchmark so it never shifts after the books close.
Every line shows its source: Automatic (from your books or jobs), From setup (after you map accounts or customers), Manual (head counts you type in) or Manual override. Sections not yet configured count as zero, so margins reflect only what is set up.

Sales Forecast
See Next Monthโs Revenue Today
Most forecasts guess from a close date. Stonify places each sold job on the timeline by the date it will actually finish: its install or templating task on the schedule. So the forecast moves when the schedule moves.
Quotes, uninvoiced deals and invoices on one weekly or daily timeline, by dollars or by job count.
You choose the anchor task. Use installation, templating or any task type, and pick the earliest or latest match.
Smart fallbacks. No task yet? The job lands a set number of days after the deal was created. Task date in the past? It rolls forward so nothing silently drops off.
Show quotes combined or separate so you can see committed work apart from what is still being decided.
Quote Performance
Find Out Who Closes, and Why Deals Die
Quote Performance shows every quote your team sent, what happened to it and how long it took. Coach your salespeople with facts instead of feelings.
Conversion rate by dollars or count, plus average days to accept and to decline.
Day by day grid of quoted, accepted, declined and open dollars by creator, primary owner, secondary owner or team.
Per customer bars that show which builders and designers actually buy, and which just shop your price.
Top decline reasons ranked by dollars lost, so you know if it is price, lead time or the competition.
Skip same day deals to keep walk-in and cash sales from inflating close rates.

Inventory Reports
Know Every Slab in the Yard
Slabs are your most expensive asset and the easiest to lose track of. Stonifyโs inventory reports count every full slab and remnant by barcode, bin and warehouse, so the yard and the books always agree.
Simple Inventory Slab Report. Full slabs, remnants, slabs on hold and allocated slabs in one summary, with average slab cost per SF and total yard value.
Inventory in Stock. Every serialized slab with lot, dimensions, bin, warehouse, FOB cost, landed cost and total value.
Inventory as of Date. Look back at exactly what you had on any date, per product or per slab, for year end counts and insurance claims.
Consigned Stock Aging. Consigned slabs grouped into 1 to 29, 30 to 59, 60 to 89, 90 to 180 and 180+ day buckets, by product or by supplier.
Monthly Supplier PO Analysis. Purchasing by month and by supplier, so you know who you really buy from before the next price talk.
Fabrication Reports
Measure the Waste You Pay For
Every square foot that ends up in the dumpster was bought at full price. Stonify follows each slab from goods receipt to cut to invoice, so you can see how much of it you actually sold.
Slab Waste. Slab quantity against deal, consumed and invoiced quantity, with fabrication waste %, total waste % and invoice waste % by project type and material.
Inventory Consumption. Every material scheduled to be used by upcoming jobs, with package, task status and whether it has been consumed yet.
Inventory Operations. A full audit trail of goods receipts, allocations, transfers, splits, transforms, write offs and returns, with who did each one and when.
Invoiced not Consumed. Jobs that were billed before their slabs were marked as used, the gap that quietly breaks your inventory count.

Catch It Early
Spot the Slab Mistakes That Cost Money
Some reports exist to tell you something is wrong before it turns into a write off. Check these once a week and the yard stays honest.
Holds That Expired
Items On Hold splits active, expired and open ended holds, with the reason and quote, so reserved slabs go back on sale.
Items On Hold
Billed but Never Consumed
Invoices whose slabs were never marked as used, so your stock count shows material that is already on a countertop.
Invoiced not Consumed Inventory
Returns Waiting on Credit
Slabs sent back to the supplier, filtered by financial document pending or issued, so no credit memo slips through.
Return to Seller
Special Orders with No Job
Special order material grouped by item, with linked and unlinked counts, so nothing you ordered for a customer sits unclaimed.
Special Orders
Consigned Slabs You Owe For
Consigned Inventory Bills lists consumed consigned slabs by supplier with an Issue Bill button, so you pay only for what you used.
Consigned Inventory Bills
Internal Use and Shop Supplies
Material consumed internally, with product, quantity, cost, bin, user and team, so shop use is tracked instead of guessed.
Inventory Consume Internal
Custom Project Views
A Live Job Board for Every Team
The shop foreman needs tomorrowโs cuts. The install lead needs the next 12 weeks with addresses. The bookkeeper needs invoiced and paid amounts. Custom project views give each of them their own saved board, built from the same live jobs.

How a View Is Built
Set it up once. It stays live as jobs move.
Pick the Columns
Choose from project, finance, quote, deal and logistics fields, then drag them into the order your team reads.
โข Project ID, name, type, status, lead source, primary and secondary owner, quantity
โข Billing contact, pricing tier, payment terms, total deal value, invoiced %, invoiced and paid amounts
โข Quote state, amount, decline reason and note; deal created date and status
โข Onsite address, city, zip and site contact with phone numbers
Show Tasks as Cards
Add a column for any task type, such as templating, cutting, polishing, installation or material delivery, and show each task as a color coded card.
โข Status, assigned user, group or machine
โข Start, due and scheduled dates, duration and completion date
โข Who completed or last changed it, plus the task notes your crew writes
Add Order Line Columns
Pull package and order lines into the view by product type or category, so the board shows what is actually being made.
โข Package name, line name, description, SKU, quantity, unit price and total
โข Allocated slab barcode, bin, warehouse and whether it is a remnant
โข Column totals, such as square feet installed across every job in the view
Filter It and Share It
Stack filters with and logic, then decide who can see the view and who can change it.
โข Project state and type, sales consultant, billing customer, pricing tier, payment terms, invoice status, quote and deal state
โข Task filters: all, any or none of chosen task types, with start, due or finished dates relative to today or a set range
